The idea of MAP2Café came a few years ago when I use to drink up to 12 cups a day and had what a friend called Coffee Madness experiences which drove my level of creativity up.My day job is in the travel industry and takes me everywhere. I took my first flight at 3 years old and have been traveling extensively since then. I recently realized that I have visited over 300 cities worldwide and have drunk coffee in almost each of them. I then had the idea to share my 2 passions travel and coffee with you coffee lovers; and MAP2Café was born.Born in Montréal (Québec), Canada land of the cold and freezing winter where morning coffee is a necessity to keep you warm. Lived in Vancouver, London, Beijing and currently residing in Singapore.

Passionate about travel and tea…
I like the aroma of coffee; but don’t like the taste of it. I’m more of a tea drinker, and enjoy spending time at a café with a warm tea and a magazine or a book. Having breakfast with my husband is interesting as he has coffee and I have tea. Whenever we stop for some chocolate cake at a café; it’s always the same “odd” combination of tea, coffee and cake.French and English teacher by day, reader and writer by night; I enjoy traveling very much with my husband and writing about my experiences.I come from a tiny island tucked away in the Indian Ocean. There are some wonderful tea plantations in some parts of the island. My favorite is vanilla flavored tea. Some people cannot live without their coffee and I am one of those few who cannot live without my tea. Wherever I travel I always bring some tea bags with me to enjoy. My day is never complete unless I have my tea!

Born in Mauritius (tea producing country); lived in Beijing and currently residing in Singapore.
