Papa Palehta

A little gem in the coffee scene in Singapore. Papa Palheta is a very unique place, not easy to find; but worth every minute spent looking for it. In the back of a shop house you will find the entrance to a terrace which leads to a small room where a nice coffee will be brewed to perfection just for you. Papa Palheta is actually an independent coffee boutique, specialising in roasting and purveying specialty coffee and not a Cafe. However; they will let you taste their specialty coffee for a nominal contribution. There is a coffee tasting bar in the back of the terrace which is decorated with all sorts of antiques. Papa Palheta is the place to buy your beans and I’ve seen people lined up for it in the morning.
